The Brown & Peisch States Advisory Service provides periodic advisories on legal developments that impact state public assistance programs. Most of the advisories deal with Medicaid and CHIP, because they are the largest and most active programs, but B&P also circulates advisories on TANF, Foster Care, Child Support, SNAP, and WIC, when there are important developments in those programs.
Topics covered by the States Advisory Service include: proposed and final federal regulations, subregulatory guidance, significant legislative developments in Congress, important court decisions and pending litigation. Our aim is not only to alert clients to these changes, but also to provide an in-depth analysis of the potential impact of such developments on the operation of state programs. The Firm aims to circulate about 50 advisories annually, although the exact number depends on developments in the subjects covered.
The advisories are circulated by e-mail to as many recipients as a subscribing State requests. In addition, the Firm has library of current and past advisories available for all subscribers.
If you are interested in information about the cost to subscribe to the States Advisory Service, or if you or your employer is already a subscriber, and you would like access to any past advisories, please feel free to contact Grace Wright (gwright@brownandpeisch.com) or one of our lawyers.
